Happy Thanksgiving!!!

This is Vincent, Brian's cousin, and Elijah. Elijah loves Vince to pieces! We ate lunch at Brian's Aunts house and spent dinner with my family. Elijah wanted me to take him out at 4:00 am for the Black Friday sales so I did. We ended up coming home from Thanksgiving and staying up the rest of the night. Then we left at 3:45 to get to Sears and Kohls by 4 so we could stand in line and freeze. We had a good time! It is important for us to spend individual time with our kids one on one. Brian and I both like to do things with both kids on their own. Brian takes Elijah out to stores that they both have interest in and I do the same with him. Elijah and Zane spend a lot of time together too. They are very close. Elijah is the typical over-protective big brother.

Elijah and Hannah wrestling in the yard!

Hannah, Sarah and Elijah are all very close in age and they enjoy aggrivating each other whenever they can.
Zane was admiring Molly's tree. So far this year he hasn't taken any ornaments off of my tree. I taught him to touch with his finger not to grab and it' working so far.

Eating with Dad!

There is a mirror right in front of Zane on the wall so he was making faces at himself and laughing while his Dad was holding him. That is Aunt Bobby, and Aunt Molly, Brian's Aunts.

Daddy, Zane and Furry baby (Biskit)

Nap time for the babies (big and small).

Merry Christmas!

We put up our tree this weekend! I am not completely finished with it yet. I have some ribbon to run through it and I have some other blue ornaments I'm still hunting. I will take a picture of it again when it's all done. Elijah wanted me to post what it looks like now because he was excited about having it up. I have a burgundy and gold tree that is amazing that I have collected ornaments for about 11 years for. Every year I always go back and forth about which one to put up the blue or the burgundy. Obviously I did blue this year. Next year you can see the burgundy one. I don't have as much on the blue tree yet because I have only had it for 2 years. Brian and I have a fiber optic tree on our dresser that we like to leave on at night. I would put up a tree in every room if I could. Zane is great! He doesn't mess with the ornaments. I taught to touch with his finger but not to grab and he does.

The tree!

I have mostly blue, white and silver ornaments but there are a bunch of ornaments that Elijah has made over the years as well. I have a smaller tree on the back porch with multi-color lights(I'm putting it up today so no pic yet) on it that has a bunch of homemade ornaments, even ones that my mother hand sewed when my brothers and I were born (over 46 years ago). So I like to have both up. The more trees the merrier!!

Zane's ornament

I got this one the year he was born. Elijah has one with his name and weight on it also.
