Brian and his Granny for the last time

Brian went up to Maryville to see his Granny on Saturday afternoon. She passed on this afternoon around 4:30. She was still very much aware of what was going on around her. He took her some pictures of the boys on Saturday so she could keep one by her bed. We brought the boys up once a month or so to visit her at the nursing home and she enjoyed playing with Zane. She went about as peacefully as someone can.

What a surprise to get all of this snow! It was a good opportunity for the boys to play outside. Zane is not crazy about it he fusses when we get him ready but he likes to watch Elijah roll around in it!

My very thoughtful hubby got me a new North Face jacket that I have been eyeballing for early Valentines Day. I hate wearing jackets but I really liked this one. He gave it to me yesterday so I got to put it to good use today!

Happy Snowy Groundhog Day!

Can you believe this mess? I had no idea this morning when I kissed Brian goodbye at 6:15 that it would look like this a few hours later. This is probably not a great indicator for Groundhogs Day! Oh well at least the kids can use their snow days.

Biskit loves his toys!

Biskit got a new toy on Saturday and you can see he really loves it! That's his favorite thing to do is tear the squeakers out of his toys and remove all the stuffing. At least it's not the couch!
