Joel Osteen Live at Yankees Stadium!

Brian and I really love to listen to Joel Osteen on t.v. When I was a young girl I had the pleasure of going to Texas to his fathers church, which he now Pastors. His father passed away 4 years ago and Joel has had it ever since. He was invited by the Yankees Stadium Commissioners to be the first non sports related person to appear at Yankees Stadium. He will be live at 7:00 eastern on channel 40. He is an amazing, anointed Pastor and listening to him will uplift, change, and make you evaluate things in your life as well as remind you of all the things God has in store for you and your family. He is a non-denominational speaker but he preaches the Bible so that's what matters. Take a listen and I promise you won't be disappointed.

Biskit is not feeling well!

Elijah found a tick on Biskit about a week and a half ago and now is lymph nodes are swollen because of the tick so we had to take him to the vet to get antibiotics. He was due for his yearly rabies (which is done every 3 now thank goodness) so we got that too. It makes him sore and nauseus so he moves slowly through the house. He is pitiful!! He is as bad as all the other babies when their sick. He has to take them for about 3 weeks and his nodes should go down in about a week. He is a very sensitive dog, par for the course at our house!!

Working on our alphabet!

Zane can go to G now in his alphabet. He was stuck at D but he has learned e,f,and g in the last 2 days. Once he gets going he gets it pretty fast.

Elijah got his DARE certificate

They have a DARE Program at school for all 5th graders. It lasts for about 6 weeks. They learn all about drug use, underage drinking, making good choices, peer pressure and the effects of drug and alcohol as well as the legal ramifications. They have to write a report about it too at the end. Elijah just finished his and got his certificate and t-shirt.

Hello All!

So sorry for the delay in posting. I am unbelievably busy right now. Zanes Birthday party is on Sunday so I have had stuff to buy, prepare and order for it. My Mom bought Elijah a new flat screen tv for his b-day which isn't til June but she had to get my Dad a new one anyway so she went ahead and ordered his. I have installed both tvs just today. I am also finishing painting the living room and kitchen as well as the trim. (before my brother and his family arrive on Thurs.) I took Elijah to the dentist last week and had a filling done and his face swelled up like a softball and it still is not right so I am dealing with that as well. Other than all that I have the yard to finish as well, bird feeders, weed eating, etc.... So I will have lots of new pics this weekend. Don't forget Zanes Birthday party is on Sun. the 26th. I moved it because I had to get something ordered and it wasn't going to be able to be delivered til then. See ya soon!!
