Pancake Breakfast!!

Elijah's football team is having a pancake breakfast at Applebees on N. Peters Rd. next to Dicks Sporting Goods on Sat. Oct. 18th at 8-9:30 am. It cost $5.00 and it is All You Can Eat pancakes, sausage and drinks!! The money goes to pay for all of the new uniforms, pads, and helmets that they got this year. Come one come all the food is great!!

Fruit and Berry Patch

We took the boys, Nanny, and my brother and his family to the Fruit and Berry patch in Halls. It is a really great family place. We got to go thru the corn maze, pick our pumpkin out of the field and pet the goats.
We bought fresh Apple Butter and jam. In the Spring we are going back to pick our own strawberries, grapes, and peaches!

Zane loved this maze. It was a decent size but not huge enough to get lost in. We went to the Oakes Farm maze last year and it cost us about 40.00 to get in, get a pumpkin, and do the maze and it was nowhere near as fun and much further away.

We drove thru the farm and stopped off at each place along the way but my brother and his family parked and walked (along with Nanny). She got to the pumpkin field at the top and she was worn out so she hitched a ride with us (hence the exhausted face in this pic).

Please don't eat my hair!

Zane and Elijah both loved feeding these goats. Zane followed Elijah around and did just what he did. These goats were crazy. As soon as we got in the car to leave their fenced area they all crawled out of the fence and ate the corn we dropped and crawled back in!
