Happy Easter Weekend!

Be sure and check back on Sunday and I will load our Easter weekend pics for all to see. We are going to Brian's Aunt Susans on Sunday with the boys to celebrate Easter. We always do baskets here at home and at Aunt Susans. Even though Elijah is almost 12 your never too old for Easter baskets from Mommy! Hopefully next year we will have found a church we like and want to be a part of to take the kids too but this year we have not found one yet. It amazes me how many people could care less about church all year until Easter and then they show up. They did a poll of kids ages 6-14 and only 20 percent of them knew the reason we have Easter and the incredible signifigance behind it. That is sad! A little less Easter Bunny and a little more understanding of the ultimate sacrifice that was given for us would make a big difference. Take time this weekend to educate your children about this holiday and the importance if has on everyones life even those who don't believe would not have some of the things they do without it. Jesus gave everything he had left, including his life, so we might live, so maybe if we gave just a little to someone else instead of ourselves we could make a difference in their lives as well. "If you give unto the least of these you have given unto me..."
