Halloween-First stop of the night!

We take the boys out to trick or treat for a couple of hours every year. Elijah goes with his friend Austin, his mom (my good friend) Shari,Brian, Zane and I. We've been going together every year for 8 years. I never let the kids dress up scary but I do let them get some candy.

Trick or Treating!

Zane was Jeff Wiggle for Halloween (big surprise!) He would not wear the mask but he wore the rest of the outfit. He wouldn't go up to the door but he watched and laughed from a distance as Elijah and Austin went.

Nanny and Elijah at Ft. Campbell

Elijah went with his Nanny and Pa to Ft. Campbell Army base for an Army Alumni ceremony this past weekend. He loves all things military so he was in heaven! My parents were stationed at Ft. Campbell many years ago so they took Elijah to the museum, the PX and showed him their old Army quarters that they used to live in. It isn't open to the public but my parents keep an active military i.d.

Winding down for bedtime

Elijah went to Ft. Campbell this weekend with Nanny and Pa for a Memorial/Reunion type of thing on the Army base so it was just the 3 of us.

New pajamas

Nanny got these extremely cute long johns for Zane a couple of weeks ago. I had her get 1 size too big so they would last a while. I love anything for the boys with their name on it! They didn't have Elijahs size or I would make him wear his too!

I don't think this is what Biskit bargained for!!

He loves to lay next to Zane when he sleeps because he is so warm but I don't think he wanted to be put in a headlock!

Pancake Breakfast!!

Elijah's football team is having a pancake breakfast at Applebees on N. Peters Rd. next to Dicks Sporting Goods on Sat. Oct. 18th at 8-9:30 am. It cost $5.00 and it is All You Can Eat pancakes, sausage and drinks!! The money goes to pay for all of the new uniforms, pads, and helmets that they got this year. Come one come all the food is great!!

Fruit and Berry Patch

We took the boys, Nanny, and my brother and his family to the Fruit and Berry patch in Halls. It is a really great family place. We got to go thru the corn maze, pick our pumpkin out of the field and pet the goats.
We bought fresh Apple Butter and jam. In the Spring we are going back to pick our own strawberries, grapes, and peaches!

Zane loved this maze. It was a decent size but not huge enough to get lost in. We went to the Oakes Farm maze last year and it cost us about 40.00 to get in, get a pumpkin, and do the maze and it was nowhere near as fun and much further away.
