Football Practice!!

Elijah started football practice last week. He has never played before but he wanted to try it this year and see if he liked it. He is doing very well . Zane mimics everything he does so he wants to go play too!

Zane loves to run around the field and play ball like brother. There is a huge extra section that they don't use so Zane wears himself out playing. He's always ready for bed when we get home!

My oldest brother Rick got married on Monday in Gatlinburg. They had a small, intimate service with a few family and friends. Elijah and Zane will have a new cousin now. His wife, Kimberly, has a 3 year old boy named Dakota. That makes 5 grandbabies for my Mom and Dad, 4 boys and 1 girl. Poor Julia!

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Brian, the boys and my mom got a cake for me for my birthday. It was nice of them to remember. I am glad to have a birthday but I wish they would slow down a little bit. They come sooner and sooner every year.

We had a cookout on Sunday with Brian's Dad in Morristown. The weather was a little yucky but it stopped raining long enough for us to grill out. Zanes happy anywhere just as long as he has a ball to play with.

Swim lessons

Elijah has had swim lessons for 4 years at the YMCA out North. He swims great but he enjoys it so much that we get them every summer. He wants to be on the swim team next year so we did level 4 this year again so he could refine his diving, speed and accuracy of his strokes. We went to the Y out west this year because it's closer and they have an indoor pool so no weather worries! He really enjoys it.
