Hi everyone! Here are a few new pictures of the family. We had Easter pics taken last Saturday at Kids Shots in Fountain City. They turned out great and the kids got to have them taken with live bunnies and a lamb named Lily wearing a diaper. Zane got a kick out of that!! Zane is a few weeks away from turning one and walking on his own. April 26th is his first birthday. He just got his second tooth today finally. Our next photo session will be at Portrait Innovations and it will include all 4 of us. Zane and Elijah are looking more and more alike every day. They both have my shape of eyes, mouth, nose and cheeks. Zane has his dad's entire body hands and all and eye color but his entire face is mine. Elijah has my face as well I guess that's why they look so much alike. Elijah is crazy about Zane also. He gets upset when he cries, he lays down with him in the morning when it's naptime and he sings songs to him constantly. He really is a wonderful big brother. He made first honors on his report card this 6 weeks again. We are really proud of him. Me, Daddy and Nanny are going to take both boys and the dog (Biskit) to Charleston, South Carolina when school gets out so Zane can see the beach for the first time. I guess this will be Biskits first trip too!
Everyone will be getting Easter pics in the mail in about 2.5 weeks, and you will love them, but then I am the mom so I'm biased Ha! Ha! All of my boys are handsome from the littlest one to the biggest one (daddy)! He gets more handsome and sweet with each birthday. This year will be our 6 year wedding anniversary. It seems like 2 . Where does the time go? We are really blessed to have a wonderful family and to have each other. It's great to still be very much in love. A little bit of spousal fear helps too!! (and I don't mean me of him either.) We are still living with Nanny and Pa in West Knoxville. We really enjoy being able to spend time with them and them with us. The boys love every day they get with them. Zane wakes up every day and gets to see his Nanny waiting to play with him. Most kids and grandparents don't get that. Elijah loves it also. On Sunday we take the boys to Grandma Betty's house to play and visit. (Nanny gets a break on Sunday) What would we do without family? Well, that's all for now. Watch for the new pics in the coming weeks(probably around April 4th or 5th) I recommend going to Kids Shots or Portrait Innovations either one for family pictures, they both are great but the live animal were a big hit with the boys. You have to take all the pictures you can they grow up right before your eyes. Thank goodness my 9.5 year old still tells me he loves me all the time and said to me just this morning "I'm glad that your my mom" God has truly blessed me with an amazing, handsome, sweet husband, 2 wonderful children and unbelieveable parents. What more could I ask for? Oh yeah, I can't forget the awesome dog!!

What a relief to not have to hold bottles anymore!! He can hold his own bottle and sippy cup now. It seems within the last 3 weeks he has started talking up a storm and saying ma-ma, da-da, na-na (nanny), ba-ba(brother Elijah), and he waves hi and bye and claps his hands and play patty cake! I wish he would slow down a little and let me enjoy each moment before onto the next thing. He can take 2 steps unassisted and stand on his own without falling. However I haven't put away the helmet just yet I'm sure pump knots and bruises are to come!

My 2 handsome boys!!

Here are Elijah and Zane playing on our couch. Zane is enamored with his big "bubba", or brother. The bigger Zane gets and the more he can do the more excited Elijah gets. Zane can drink and hold his own sippy cup and bottle now as well as pull himself up and walk 2 steps unassisted. Like his brother he isn't interested in crawling and only does it when he has to. They are both moms boys (hence the shirt Zane has on that says Mom Rocks!) as well as Nannys boys. They are blessed enough to spend time with their Nanny every day and Pa some too.

All of these toys will soon be in the floor after Zane gets through with them.

Zane got his own video chair and controller so he could sit with "bubba", he calls him, and play Playstation like a big boy. He loves to spend time with his brother and watches everything he does.

Watch out he's pulling up and standing his own. I don't know if I'm excited or worried. He'll get a few bumps and bruises along the way but he's all boy!!
